John C. Hill

John C. was born about 1851 in Tippah Co., Mississippi.¹   John C.'s father was Abel Winslow Hill and his mother was Mary South McLean. He had eight brothers and two sisters, named Robert, Samuel R., Charles, Able Winslow, Jr., William M., Tennessee C., Blackburn W., James P., Martha A. and Mary M..  He was the second youngest of the eleven children.  He died after 1860.¹
