William Arnold Hightower 
William Arnold was born on February 24th, 1830 in Georgia.1 William Arnold's father was Elisha Hightower and his mother was Mary Eugenia Oslin. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Hightower and Mildred (Milly) Arnold; his maternal grandparents were John Oslin and Sarah Watters. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Asbury Waters, Isaac Oslin, John Thomas, James W. (Rev), Joseph (Rev), Elisha Benjamin Franklin (Doc), Harriet, Eliza Ann and Mary Eugenia (Molly). He was the fifth youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 46 on February 20th, 1877 in Grandview, Johnson Co., Texas.1 General Notes
