Jeff Davis was born in 1861 in Shelby Co. Alabama.1 Jeff Davis' father was William Robert Heatley and his mother was Mary Ann Mason. His paternal grandfather was Robert Heatly and his paternal grandmother is Wife Unknown. He had seven brothers and two sisters, named George Washington, Robert Dennis, John Coleman, Charles Wesley, David J., William Larner, James W., Rebecca Jane and Sally\Charlotte B.. He died at the age of 76 in 1937 in Compton, California.1 General Notes
