Rebecca Hankins 
Rebecca was born in 1786 in Virginia.1 Rebecca's father was John Hankins and her mother was Elizabeth Skaggs. Her maternal grandparents were James Skaggs and Rachel Unknown. She had two brothers and six sisters, named Joseph, Moses, Mary, Rachel, Lucinda, Sarah, Lydia and Parthenia. She was the fourth youngest of the nine children. She died at the age of 72 on January 5th, 1858 in Clinch River, Tazewell Co., Virginia.1 General Notes
