Parthenia Hankins 
Parthenia was born on February 2nd, 1798 in Virginia.1 Parthenia's father was John Hankins and her mother was Elizabeth Skaggs. Her maternal grandparents were James Skaggs and Rachel Unknown. She had two brothers and six sisters, named Joseph, Moses, Mary, Rachel, Lucinda, Rebecca, Sarah and Lydia. She was the youngest of the nine children. She died at the age of 63 on December 22nd, 1861 in Stony Ridge, Tazewell Co., Virginia.1 General Notes
