Virginia Mae Hamman 
Virginia Mae was born on November 22nd, 1880 in New Boston, Bowie County, Texas.1 Virginia Mae's father was John Henry Hamman and her mother was Lenora Alethea Gause. Her paternal grandparents are Phillip H., Jr. Hamman and Mary Ann Allen; her maternal grandparents were Emory Purefoy Gause and Caroline Narcissa Gardner. She had six brothers and four sisters, named James Emory, George, Terry, Robert Terry, Mack Barnes, Joseph Zachariah, Lena Elizabeth, Carrie Mae, Emily Josephine and Samuel M. "Sammie". She was the fifth oldest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 54 on December 1st, 1934.1 -
