James Grigsby 
James was born on December 20th, 1789.1 James' father was John,4th Grigsby and his mother was Sarah Winifred Watson. His paternal grandparents were John,3rd Grigsby and Rosanna Etchison. He had five brothers and three sisters, named John, William, Edward Watson, Benjamin M., Ned, Margaret, Elizabeth and Caroline. He had six half-brothers and six half-sisters, named William, Samuel, John,5th, Ashby, Nathaniel, James D., Nancy, Elizabeth, Judith, Frances, Lucy and Mary.
