Samuel Griffin

Samuel was born in 1859.¹   Samuel's father was Washington Griffin and his mother was Mary Jane Sheppard.  His paternal grandfather was David Griffin and his paternal grandmother is Sarah Unknown. He had a brother and two sisters, named Eugene, Roena and Barbara Ellen.  He is the second oldest of the four children. He had four half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Jarret L., Isaac C., Drury Washington, James W. Shepherd (Ship), Caroline Matilda and Nancy Elizabeth.
