Solomon Gosnell 
Solomon was born on January 19th, 1847 in North Carolina.1 Solomon's father is Charles Gosnell and his mother is Cloa Judith Sams. His maternal grandfather was John Warren Sams and his maternal grandmother is Agnes Blackwell. He had eight brothers and two sisters, named Jesse, Martin, Charles, John, John, Russell Rufus, Portman, Thomas Clingman, Nancy and Mary M.. He was the sixth oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 50 on November 22nd, 1897 in Madison Co., North Carolina.1 General Notes
