Vernon Godsey 
Vernon was born on October 13th, 1923.1 Vernon's father was William Wallace Godsey and his mother was Jessamine Holliday. His paternal grandparents are Austin C. Godsey and Louisa Williams. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Haven, William Wallace,Jr., Alva, Hazel and Nova. He was the second youngest of the six children. He died on October 13th, 1923.1 General Notes
