Alva Godsey 
Alva was born on August 6th, 1916.1 Alva's father was William Wallace Godsey and her mother was Jessamine Holliday. Her paternal grandparents are Austin C. Godsey and Louisa Williams. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Haven, Vernon, William Wallace,Jr., Hazel and Nova. She was the second oldest of the six children. She died at the age of 78 on May 30th, 1995 in Burkesville, Cumberland, Kentucky, United States of America.1 General Notes
