Lula May Giles 
Lula May was born on July 26th, 1882.1 Lula May's father was Joseph Milton Giles and her mother was Margaret Clementine McCowen. Her paternal grandparents were Milton Giles and Mary Ladd Majors; her maternal grandfather is James F. McCowen and her maternal grandmother was Elizabeth Manly. She had three brothers and six sisters, named James Milton, Noble M., John Irwin, Mary Elizabeth, Laudie Eldora, Henry Francis, Joe Annie, Rosie Lynn and Lillian Janice. She was the third youngest of the ten children. She died at the age of 23 on December 30th, 1905.1 General Notes
