John Gause 
John was born about 1740.1 John's father was William, Sr. Gause and his mother is Ann Bryan. His paternal grandfather was Charles Goss. He had five brothers and a sister, named Needham, William, Jr., Charles, Benjamin A., Bryant and Susanna. He died in 1783 in South Carolina.1 
John and Susanna were married in a religious ceremony before 1762.1 They had four sons and two daughters, named Benjamin, Charles, John Julius, Needham, Charlotte and Elizabeth.
