Alfred Lawrence was born on October 12th, 1923 in Port Lavaca, Calhoun Co., Texas.1 Alfred Lawrence's father was John Francis Finster and his mother was Perlie Myrtle Graham. His maternal grandparents were Malcom Robert Lee Graham and Mary Alcone Owens. He had five brothers named John Taft, Harvey Leroy, Wilburn Woodrow, Kenneth Carol and Lyndon Keith.
