Walter Dewey Everett 
Walter Dewey was born on April 24th, 1898 in Coryell, Co., Texas.1 Walter Dewey's father was Jesse Yell Everett and his mother was Lucy Jane Manning. His maternal grandparents were James Duncan Manning and Martha Jane Graham. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Harvey Ewell, Roy Felix, James Naymon, William Travis, Glenn Manning, Verba and Flossie Beulah. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 82 on March 13th, 1981 in Gail, Borden Co., Texas.1 General Notes
