Virginia Caroline Durant 
Virginia Caroline was born on April 23rd, 1850 in Horry Co., South Carolina.1 Virginia Caroline's father was Bethel,2nd Durant and her mother was Sarah Ann Rebecca Graham. Her maternal grandparents were William Bellamy Graham and Jane Conner. She had five brothers and three sisters, named William Bethel, John Marsden, Daniel Brooks, Yancy Asbury, Henry Cornelius, Hannah Jane, Mary Millicent and Sarah Martha. She was the second oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 94 on March 4th, 1945 in Leon Co., Texas. She was buried in Nettles Family CemeteryLiberty Co., Texas.1 1 General Notes
