David Lillard Davis 
David Lillard was born on August 13th, 1896 in Texas.1 David Lillard's father was David Columbus Davis and his mother was Martha Hepziah Brush. His paternal grandfather was Henry P. Davis and his paternal grandmother is Mary Rebecca Edinburgh. He had six brothers and two sisters, named William Edward, Milton Homer, Jessie Columbus, Mossie Fuller, Alvin Miller, George Dewey, Bertha May and Dona Lee. He was the second oldest of the nine children. He had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named Robert Pinkland, Viola Irene and Mary Maude.
