Annie Lee was born on July 4th, 1870 in Tallapoosa Co., Alabama.1 Annie Lee's father was Larkin Chilton Counts and her mother was Alcey Jane Ray. Her paternal grandparents were George Counts and Nancy Matthews. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Robert Lee (Bob), Alice, Luck Richard, Francis R. (Fannie), Haston E. and Ella. She was the third oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 53 on November 27th, 1923 in Tallapoosa Co., Alabama.1 General Notes
