Alexander Cleveland 
Alexander was born on December 15th, 1814 in South Carolina.1 Alexander's father was Jacob, Jr. Cleveland and his mother was Martha (Rhody) Lyon. His paternal grandparents were Jacob, Sr. Cleveland and Mildred (Milly) White. He had nine brothers and two sisters, named Rice, Allen, Oliver Cromwell, Andrew Jackson, Benjamin Franklin, James Madison, William, Jacob M., Gilmer, Martha (Sarah) and Amanda (Elizabeth). He died at the age of 85 on November 17th, 1900.1 General Notes
