James Ottey Cherry 
James Ottey was born on December 16th, 1833 in WARREN COUNTY, KY.1 James Ottey's father was Joseph Taylor Cherry and his mother was Selina Graves Ottey. His paternal grandparents were William Cherry and Frances Taylor; his maternal grandparents were James Ottey and Salina Graves. He had four brothers and two sisters, named William Bailey, John Allen, George Robert, Joseph Taylor, Sarah and Caroline Matilda. He was the second oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 49 on October 15th, 1883.1 -
