John, Jr. was born on February 10th, 1809 in Maury Co., Tennessee.1 John, Jr.'s father was John Campbell and his mother was Eleanor Denton. His maternal grandparents are Joseph Denton and Wife Unknown. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Joseph, William, Mariah Elizabeth, Elizabeth and Susan M..
