Willie Bill Conner was born on August 29th, 1910 in Dora, Roosevelt Co., New Mexico.1 Willie Bill Conner's father was William Franklin Burney and his mother was Maggie Bell Ledford. His maternal grandparents were James Kenneth Ledford and Darnellie Juliar Basham. He had four brothers and three sisters, named William Travis, Joseph Alton, Opal Laremore Jack, Ralph Woodrow Chuck, Stella, Maggie Pearl and Ruby Lee. He was the third youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 58 on March 23rd, 1969 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.1 General Notes
