Mary Polly Brown 
Mary Polly was born on October 8th, 1819.1 Mary Polly's father was Austin Brown and her mother was Isabella Barnes. Her paternal grandparents were Peyton Brown and Betsy UNKNOWN. She had two brothers and six sisters, named Thomas, Andrew Jackson, Sarah Jane, Elizabeth Ann, Nancy, Margaret Griselda, Theresa and Deborah. She was the fourth youngest of the nine children. She had three half-brothers and a half-sister, named Riley, Austin, Chloe and Catherine Hulda. She died at the age of 66 on August 4th, 1886.1 
‌Mary Polly and James Lewis were married in a religious ceremony on October 24th, 1837 in BUTLER COUNTY, KY.1 They had four sons and six daughters, named William Harrison, John Austin, Willis Harvey, Perry Jackson, Nancy Caroline, Elizabeth Ann, Irene Isabella, Iantha Elizabeth, Christen Frances and Rachel Louisa.
