Samuel Braswell 
Samuel was born about 1815 in Tennessee.1 Samuel's father was Sampson Braswell and his mother was Priscilla Williams. His paternal grandparents were Samuel Braswell and Sarah Unknown; his maternal grandparents were William Williams and Lucreasy Braswell. He had four brothers and two sisters, named William, Leroy (Lee), Lemuel, Nathan, Lucretia and Unicey. He was the fourth oldest of the seven children. Jacob Leroy (Lee) was born on September 14th, 1849 in Murfreesboro, Rutherford Co., Tenn.1 He died at the age of 88 on December 4th, 1937 in Melissa, Collin Co., Texas.1
