Sampson Braswell 
Sampson was born about 1782 in North Carolina.1 Sampson's father was Samuel Braswell and his mother was Sarah Unknown. His paternal grandparents were William, Jr. Braswell and Margaret Unknown. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Micajah, Wilson, Elizabeth, Margaret and Queenie. He was the oldest of the six children. He died about 1873 in Probably Tennessee.1 General Notes
