Leslie R. Braswell 
Leslie R. was born on January 29th, 1889 in Texas.1 Leslie R.'s father was Jacob Leroy (Lee) Braswell and his mother was Cordelia Quantrell Bogan. His paternal grandparents were Samuel Braswell and Mary (Polly) W. Adams; his maternal grandparents were William H. Bogan and Mary C. White. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Ernest C., Homer, Goldie, Clyde, Royse, Addie Lena, Winnie Mae and Mary Edith. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Willie M and Bessie. He died at the age of 29 on October 15th, 1918 in Melissa, Collin Co., Texas.1 General Notes
