Dempsey Braswell 
Dempsey was born after 1757.1 Dempsey's father was William Braswell and his mother was Martha Unknown. His paternal grandparents were William, Jr. Braswell and Margaret Unknown. He had seven sisters named Lucreasy, Judah, Unknown, Priscilla, Robin, Rhoda and Mourning. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children. He died on March 2nd, 1855 in Nash Co., North Carolina.1 General Notes
