Bessie M. Braswell 
Bessie M. was born about October 1894 in Texas.1 Bessie M.'s father was Abraham H. Braswell and her mother was Tennessee Hall. Her paternal grandparents were Samuel Braswell and Mary (Polly) W. Adams. She had five brothers and two sisters, named William Jessie, James M., Fred A., Houston, Quincy, Gertie and Lilie S.. She was the fourth oldest of the eight children.
