Wylie Cox was born on January 15th, 1870 in Cumberland Co., Kentucky.1 Wylie Cox's father was Richard Clark Bouldin and his mother was Emma Amelia Dickens. His paternal grandparents are John Bouldin and Betsy Lampkin. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Richard Clark, Luther, Henry S., Robert E. Lee, Jane Eliza, Bernice, Martha Harris and Clara Eugenia. He had five half-brothers and six half-sisters, named Pleasant C., James A., John G., Thomas T., Willliam M., Polly Ann, Bettie L., Susan C., Sarah Ellen, Nancy and Ella. He died at the age of 77 on May 22nd, 1947 in Cumberland Co., Kentucky. He was buried in Burkesville Cemetery , Kentucky.1 1 General Notes
