Mildred Ann was born in 1812 in Henry Co., Virginia.1 Mildred Ann's father was Thomas,3rd Bouldin and her mother was Armine Estes Cox. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas, Jr. Bouldin and Martha Moseley; her maternal grandparents are Frederick Cox and Mildred Estes. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Thomas Clay, Frederick H., Sydney, Jane, Martha, Letitia Ann and Sarah. She was the second youngest of the eight children.
