Nancy Evalyn was born on October 10th, 1876 in Williamson Co. Texas.1 Nancy Evalyn's father was George Joseph Blackman and her mother was Cynthia Ellen Oxley. Her maternal grandparents were Enoch Oxley and Elizabeth Smalley. She had four brothers and three sisters, named James Enoch, William Everitt, John Michael, Charles Alexander, Queen Addie, Elizabeth Catherine and Mary Dena. She was the youngest of the eight children. She had two half-brothers named Everett L. and Ernie M.. She died at the age of 93 on March 17th, 1970 in Celburne, Johnson Co., Texas.1 General Notes
