Charles Alexander was born on February 10th, 1870 in Williamson Co. Texas.1 Charles Alexander's father was George Joseph Blackman and his mother was Cynthia Ellen Oxley. His maternal grandparents were Enoch Oxley and Elizabeth Smalley. He had three brothers and four sisters, named James Enoch, William Everitt, John Michael, Queen Addie, Elizabeth Catherine, Mary Dena and Nancy Evalyn. He was the third youngest of the eight children. He had two half-brothers named Everett L. and Ernie M.. He died at the age of 56 on October 26th, 1926 in Beeville, Bee Co., Texas.1 General Notes
