William Edward Bassham 
William Edward was born on August 9th, 1887 in Salem, Fulton Co., Arkansas.1 William Edward's father was Archibald Franklin Bassham and his mother was Martha Alice Brown. His paternal grandparents were Samuel Frederick Howard Basham and Elizabeth Charity Ray. He had three brothers and three sisters, named John Frederick Howard, Archibald Franklin, Jr., Chadmath Shalor, Maude Ann Elizabeth, Lillie Belle and Georgia Cecil. He was the third oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 52 on February 27th, 1940 in Tulsa, Tulsa Co., Oklahoma.1 General Notes
