Martha Adela Bassham 
Martha Adela was born on June 23rd, 1881.1 Martha Adela's father was Joseph P. Basham and her mother was Mary Jane Morris. Her paternal grandparents were Jonathan Basham and Delilah Payne. She had seven brothers and five sisters, named Joseph Lawrence, Thomas Lane, James 'Alvin', Jesse Isaac, C. B., Marian Clinton, Frederick Fenton, Sarah Delilah, Nannie Bell, Mary Lou 'Visa', Alice Clementine (Tiny) and Ruth Amazon. She was the sixth youngest of the thirteen children. She had five half-brothers and five half-sisters, named Henry Jonathan, William O. (Rev), James, John, Samuel, Elizabeth Ellen, Abigail Suretha, Katie, Donana A. (Donnie) and Minnie L.. She died at the age of 19 on August 29th, 1900. She was buried in Sipe Springs Cemetery, Comanche Co., Texas.1 1 General Notes
