Leonard S. Bassham 
Leonard S. was born on January 6th, 1895 in Alabama.1 Leonard S.'s father was James William Bassham and his mother was Tythe Elizabeth Wright. His paternal grandparents were Levi Sampson Bassham and Sarah Smith. He had three brothers and five sisters, named William L., John Cletian, Joseph B., Sallie E., Dizzie M., Ellen M., Julia Gertrude and Remis D.. He was the fourth youngest of the nine children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named James "Little Jim" and Evie. He died at the age of 87 on April 12th, 1982 in Limestone Co., Alabama.1 General Notes
