John Anderson Bassham 
John Anderson was born on July 3rd, 1838 in Giles Co., Tennessee.1 John Anderson's father was James Monroe Bassham and his mother was Arta M. Holloway. His paternal grandparents were Archibald Basham and Winna Jons. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Johnson J., James Monroe, Jr., Katherine, Elizabeth Elenor, Mary and Artimissa (Margaret). He was the youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 77 on July 3rd, 1915 in Giles Co., Tennessee.1 General Notes
