Harry Milton was born on October 25th, 1915 in Tishamingo, Johnston Co., Ok.1 Harry Milton's father was John Frederick Howard Bassham and his mother was Hettie Marie Thomason. His paternal grandparents were Archibald Franklin Bassham and Martha Alice Brown. He had six brothers and two sisters, named Benjamin Edgar, Fredrick Howard, Clarence David, Carmen Canoy, Richard Kelsie, Charles McDonald, Ruth Alice and Marjorie Helen.
