Cora 'May' Seeley was born on September 14th, 1890 in Texas.1 Cora 'May' Seeley's father was Francis Marion (Frank) Bassham and her mother was Louisa Lucretia (Lucy) Popnoe. Her paternal grandparents were Johnson Basham and Susan A. Unknown. She had six brothers and three sisters, named William Palestine (Bill), Henry Lansford, Edward Franklin (Edd), Leonard Lawrence, Sam Estes, Phinis Malcome, Susan Elizabeth (Betty), Arrie Ellen and Ethel Erie. She was the youngest of the ten children. She died at the age of 28 on December 30th, 1918.1 General Notes
