Buena Vista Bassham 
Buena Vista was born on August 10th, 1898 in Orangeville, Fannin Co., Texas.1 Buena Vista's father was William Palestine (Bill) Bassham and her mother was Ida Mae Vansickle. Her paternal grandparents were Francis Marion (Frank) Bassham and Louisa Lucretia (Lucy) Popnoe. She had five brothers named Kenneth James, Roscoe Leon, Byron Demont (Dee), Shelton Cleo (Shelly) and William Nelson. She was the second oldest of the six children. She died at the age of 80 on December 20th, 1978 in Colorado City, Mitchell Co., Texas.1 General Notes
