Zelma H. was born about 1898 in Grayson Co., Kentucky.1 Zelma H.'s father was Elbert Dee Basham and her mother was Sarah A. Hall. Her paternal grandparents were Henry Dalton Basham and Charlotte F. Doolin. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Clarence G., Roy Lee, Effie M. and Elton. She was the oldest of the five children. She died after 1920.1 General Notes
