William Preston Basham 
William Preston was born about September 1870 in Arkansas.1 William Preston's father was Fountain Fletcher Basham and his mother is Louisa Angelina Howard. His paternal grandparents were Pleasant (Rev) Basham and Matilda Miller. He had four brothers and three sisters, named A. Noah (Jack), Vestal Lee (Willie), Lloyd, Jessy, Lillie Elena, Cora Edna and Vita Effie (Margery). He died after 1910 in Sapulpa, Creek Co., Oklahoma.1 General Notes
