William Henry Basham 
William Henry was born on October 4th, 1850 in Barren Co., Kentucky.1 William Henry's father was Nathan Basham and his mother was Mahala Preston. His paternal grandparents were John, Jr. Basham and Frances (Franky) Meadors; his maternal grandparents were Moses Preston and Ana (Sparkey) Amos. He had three brothers and three sisters, named John Moses, Beuford B., Harvey E., Irene (Arena), Sarah E. and Sparta A. (Annie). He was the fourth oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 71 on August 6th, 1922 in Glasgow Junction, Barren Co., Ky.1 General Notes
