William Bryant Basham 
William Bryant was born on October 29th, 1896 in Montgomery Co., Tennessee.1 William Bryant's father was John Brown (Dick) Basham and his mother was Ilda Mary Murphy. His paternal grandparents were Henry Basham and Martha Ann Warren. He had nine brothers and two sisters, named Walton, Thomas, Buster Brown, Russel Morris, Fred, Max, Ervin Edward, Woodrow Wilson, Norris, Elizabeth Florence and Mary Martha. He was the oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 77 in March 1974 in Nashville, Davidson Co., Tenn.1 General Notes
