William Basham 
William was born about 1849 in Hardin Co., Kentucky.1 William's father was William B. Basham and his mother was Amanda Lyon. His paternal grandparents were Barnett A. Basham and Fanny Hall. He had three brothers and seven sisters, named Jonas L (Joel), John, Barnett, Sally, Fanny, Malvina F., Susan, Mary (Susan), Rhoda Bell and Dixie Vandora. He was the fourth oldest of the eleven children. He died on July 28th, 1924 in Hardin Co., Kentucky.1 General Notes
