Virginia Raye Basham 
Virginia Raye was born on February 13th, 1907.1 Virginia Raye's father was George Huston Basham and her mother was Mary Martha (Mae) Thomas. Her paternal grandparents were George W. Basham and Barbara A (Polly) Crutchelow. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Bailey Edwin, Ben (Earl), George Morten, Jesse Thomas, Mary Frances and Aline Hazel. She was the second oldest of the seven children. She had three half-brothers and a half-sister, named Sheridan R (Sherdie), Audie J., Floyd E. and Gertie Lee. She died at the age of 1 on April 24th, 1908.1 General Notes
