Vernie Faye was born about 1915.1 Vernie Faye's father was Allen Basham and her mother was Molly Beasley. Her paternal grandparents were Henry William Basham and Elizabeth Nancy Greer. She had two brothers and a sister, named Joe Odell, Living and Ella Mae. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Living and Living. She died about May 1989 in Texas.1 General Notes
