Thomas Arthur Basham 
Thomas Arthur was born on March 8th, 1874 in Belton, Bell Co., Texas.1 Thomas Arthur's father was John Pickens Basham and his mother was Mary Jane Brown. His paternal grandparents were James Madison Basham and Mary Ann Johnston; his maternal grandparents are Robert S. Brown and Susan Adair. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Franklin M., William Edmond, Robert Matthew, John Moody, Virginia Mae (Virga) and Susan Marguerite (Susie). He was the second oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 54 on March 26th, 1928 in San Jose, Santa Clara Co., Calif.1 General Notes
