Robert Matthew Basham 
Robert Matthew was born on January 28th, 1879 in Missouri.1 Robert Matthew's father was John Pickens Basham and his mother was Mary Jane Brown. His paternal grandparents were James Madison Basham and Mary Ann Johnston; his maternal grandparents are Robert S. Brown and Susan Adair. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Franklin M., Thomas Arthur, William Edmond, John Moody, Virginia Mae (Virga) and Susan Marguerite (Susie). He was the fourth oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 94 on December 1st, 1973 in Palo Alto, Santa Clara Co., Calif.1 General Notes
