Payton Basham 
Payton was born on September 19th, 1867 in Kentucky.1 Payton's father was Richard B. Basham and his mother was Abigail Norton. His paternal grandparents were Francis (Frank) Basham and Thursia HARDIN; his maternal grandparents were Isaac Aaron Norton and Barbara E. Basham. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named Adam, Aaron White, William, Jeremiah F. (Jerry), Charles Lee, McAtrue Miller (Mack), Junius B., Thursia E., Millie and Polly. He was the fifth oldest of the eleven children. He died after 1920.1 General Notes
