Nida Jean was born on November 4th, 1914 in Cottle Co., Texas.1 Nida Jean's father was Eli Williamson Basham and her mother was Frances Alice Freeman. Her paternal grandparents were William Riley Basham and Rachel Evethe Williamson. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Lois Vandel, William Homer, Ethel, Mollie Bea and Vera Nevada.
